Yarn Along & A Birth Announcement!!!

Introducing....Miss  Miabella Gianna!!! * SQUEEEE!!!!!* She was born almost a month ago now, and is doing fantastic!
I honestly cannot believe it's been almost a month. Seriously. I know everyone always says this after they have a baby, but it's the truth, and the time has flown by like a witch on a bike. Oh. Maybe that's not a good analogy? Okay then. Like a lovely winter bird sailing through the air to it's warm winter perch. That's better now, isn't it? No.
I'm tired. Soooo tired, people. Cut me some slack, I beg you. This baby nurses like a beast through the night, and I am sleep deprived.
Anyhow, we are all loving little Miabella, or Miabelle as we sometimes call her, or just Mia if you're lazy. And we can be quite lazy, so this works well for us. The kids are all totally enthralled with her. In fact, I feel like the only thing I ever say lately is "Back away!! Back away from the baby! PLEASE!! Give her some room to breathe!!!" Ah, kids. They love her sooo much, but if we're not careful they will smother her with their love.
I don't have lots of time to post right now, so I will just move it along (before my babe wakes up crying to be fed!) and share the Yarn Along particulars. Alright? Ok.
                                    Yarn: Classic Elite in Toboggan
Pattern: Chunky Jester PomPom Baby Hat
The yarn is super soft and perfect for a baby, and the pattern is very simple and takes no time at all to knit up. As far as reading material, Mama ain't got time for that mess, unless we're talkin facebook or blogs. I did finish "Kristin Laveransdatter" before the baby was born and loved it! What a great book. At times I was conflicted, but it was a good kind of confliction. Anyway, stop and see Ginny for Yarn Along! But first, more pics of Miabella:
No you DITN'T put me in this stupid hat. No you AIN'T.

Why I oughta.....

Donchu mess wit me...

Or I warn you...watch hands... very very dangerous....I use Tae Kwon Do on you.....

  2. Hahaha!!! I love your captions! They are perfect. Miabella is so beautiful. And the hat is adorable. I was talking with a lady today about learning to knit. I crochet, but haven't tried knitting yet. Your hat is inspiring me...so cute.

    1. Thanks Steph! You should definitely, definitely learn to knit. Do you have a Ravelry account? If you go to their site, I bet you could find a crochet version of this hat. They have so many cool patterns!
