Yarn Along

Hey there! Linking up with Ginny today for Yarn Along.
I'm kind of on a bit of a knitting bender lately, probably because half my life is currently being spent nursing the baby, and knitting keeps me from studying my home and coming up with new ideas and inspiration. "What's wrong with that?" you say. Oh, just ask my husband. He has heard enough of my ideas. The guy comes home from work all tired out and I hop off the couch like a kangaroo on crack and I'm all, "Guess WHAT. I have an IDEA." And my eyes are, like, glistening. "I want to take these three things down from that wall, put them on that other wall, paint stripes on the first wall and let's redo the whole ceiling with beadboard."
Poor Dan.
But look, I can't help coming up with ideas. I have a creative mind. It's just the way I am. I was a Pinterest addict before Pinterest even existed. Make sense? No? Alright then.
This thing I'm knitting is the Tiny Amy baby sweater. So cute. I'll finish it by the time Miabelle is like 10 years old, so I call it a win.
Just kidding. I'm almost halfway done, and it actually looks like it'll be pretty big on her. The yarn is Sirdar Baby Crofter dk and the color is Pinkie. Who names this stuff? I want in on that racket, man.
I didn't have a book I was reading before today, but I went over to my bookshelf about a half hour ago and read a few sentences of  "The Virtue Driven Life" by Father Groeschel, so I sure hope you're impressed. But I think this should be my Lenten reading... I never finished it the last time I picked it up and my lack of virtue is proof. Besides, just flipping through it again I'm reminded of what a great storyteller Fr. G is. He has lived an amazing life and I love his style.
Well that's all I got! Click on over and visit Ginny for more Yarn Along madness.
