Please Pray.

This is just a quick post to beg for your prayers for a little boy named Ben. Ben is four years old and from the Buffalo area, where I live. He has a mom and dad, an identical twin brother, and a little sister. I don't know his family, but I think we have mutual friends.

In January, Ben was having terrible headaches. Doctors discovered that he had a brain tumor. They operated on it and he went through a week of chemo and radiation, but the tumor only tripled in size. The doctors have never seen anything like this before and have told Ben's parents that there's nothing else they can do. He was sent home from the hospital. But that's not all...his parents were told that Ben only has a few weeks left to live.

Imagine if this was your child.

Please, would you pray for a miracle for Ben? His mom and dad are people of great faith. They are trusting God with their son's condition, which is amazing.

They need us now. They need the Body of Christ to pray for them.

  2. A new follower of your blog, as of the past couple months, and I will be praying! Makes me think of Bonnie aknottedlife.com and how through intercession of Ven. Archbishop FJS her son was spared so much - especially brain damage!

  3. I will pray. I have 4 year old twin boys. There are no words sufficient to express what is on my heart for this family. Crying uncontrollably. I am going to pray the 9 day St. Joseph novena. Starting right now.

  4. He was on my mind all yesterday, especially since he's a twin. If that was happening to one of my twins, I don't know what I'd do. Thank you for letting us know so we can pray. And if they start any type of fund for anything, give a heads up so I can pass it around.

  8. Been praying since I saw the info on your Facebook page. Such a sweet looking boy, and such a family of faith! I pray God lead them to the place where Ben can be healed. I am praying daily; at Mass, the Divine Mercy chaplet, during the Rosary, and in my night prayers. God, help them!

  9. My son, Sam, died 4 months ago from leukemia. He too is an identical twin. He has already proven to be a powerful intercessor and I just asked him to pray for Ben and he let me know he is. We will keep Ben in our prayers too.

    1. A, I am so sorry to hear that you lost your son! What a cross to bear. You are incredibly generous, to pray for Ben through your own suffering. How old was Sam, if you don't mind me asking? We'll pray for you, too.

    2. Sam was 12. His story was incredible (and his intercession now in changing the hearts of some of the non-believers in my family is amazing). Thank you for your prayers.

  10. I am praying for him. Breaks my heart. Ben reminds me a lot of my four year, old with his sweet smiles:( There was a family in Fl who lost their daughter to DIPG a brain cancer and there dr was in NY. Don't know if it would this family to connect with this family or the dr. But just in case it does. Their website is cheeringforcaitlyn.com

  12. I have heard of Ben's story just a few days ago via FB. Wow, his story is really spreading! I'm staring a novena today to our Lady of Knots for a cure (as his mother asked) if anyone would like to join me. It's a very powerful novena. And though we know that God asks us to bear our crosses more often than to be miraculously healed from them, I would be asking everyone to pray for a miracle too, just like Ben's Mama. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I didn't at least ask. No matter what, God's Will will be done, and this novena will give Ben and his family to bear this very difficult cross.

  13. Ben is a nephew to one of our pastors. We are remembering, not one tear is wasted, God collects them all. Somehow from such terrible pain beauty will arise.

  14. Do you think the family would welcome water from Lourdes? I have a bottle my brother brought back from his healing journey. I would happily pass it along if they would want it.
